Event Overview

FREE RATED and UNRATED GAMES WITH PRIZES!

A Two Section 3 Round Swiss,

Sections:

  • USChess
  • Club (not USChess) rated.

One round each night.  You do not have to play every week/round.  We set the parings at 7:00. Please don't be late or you will not get paired.  Un played rounds receive a zero-point bye. 

Registration: 

Just show up and we sign you up on the spot.  All USChess members play in the rated section.  If you are not a USChess member, we pair you in the club rated section.

Time Control: 

G20+30 (Game in 20 minutes with a 30 second increment) 

NOTE:  With this time control, rated players MUST take notation through the entire game.

Prizes:

We have two book prizes, one for each section.

USChess Rated Section Prize:  Sacking the Citadel by Jon Edwards
Club Rated Section Prize:  The Art of the Middle Game by Keres and Kotov
