EMS rooms W109 and W110 are reserved for the event. Hourly garage parking is available in the Engineering and Mathematical Sciences garage. Street parking is available on Kenwood Boulevard, Cramer Street, and surrounding side streets. Food is available at the restaurants in the UWM Student Union or on nearby Oakland Avenue.
This event is open to all adult players with valid USCF membership. Minors wishing to play must have adult supervision and valid USCF membership.
University students may play for free with presentation of valid student ID. General admission is $15 per player, payable on KingRegistration. UW-Milwaukee faculty and staff may also play for free. Contact TD if you are a university student or UWM faculty/staff wishing to play but do not know the discount code.
Two rounds Game/45d5. Registration closes at 4:15 PM. Round 1 begins at 4:30 pm. Round 2 begins at 6:30 pm. Dual rated.
All games are played with pairings made by WinTD. Sections may be adjusted at the time of the event depending on registration numbers in each section.
No guaranteed prize fund but one-month Chess.com premium memberships will be given to players earning 2 points.
