Limit first 60 players

Sections: K-12 Championship, K-5 Championship, K-12 Girls Championship, K-12 U1000, K-5 U500. November rating supplement will be used for pairing and awards. All games are US Chess rated.

Time Control: Players in K-12 Girls Championship, K-12 U1000 and K-5 U500 will have 5 rounds of G30 d10. Players in K-12 Championship and K-5 Championship will have 4 rounds of G45 d5.

Round Time: Door opens at 9 am, check in before 9:30 am, K-12 Girls, K-12 U1000, K-5 U500 sections round 1 start at 10 am followed by lunch break, round 2: noon, then RDs 3-5 ASAP. K-12 Championship and K-5 Championship sections rounds 1-4: 10 am, Noon, 2 pm, 4 pm.

One half-point bye is allowed for all sections if disclosed by round 1.

Awards: Trophies for top 5 finishers of each section; additional trophy for top K-1 finisher & top unrated in K-5 U500.

Special prizes for Ohio student: Top High School finisher (9-12) and Top Middle School finisher (6-8) in K-12 Championship section get paid entry into the 2023 Ohio HSMS Championship; Top finisher of K-12 Girls Championship gets paid entry into the 2023 Ohio All Girls Championship; Top finisher of K-5 Championship gets paid entry into the 2023 Ohio Elementary Championship.

Entry Fee: $30 by November 12 ($10 more after). Online payment is required. Limited financial assistance is available for children from the families in financial need, MUST contact TD with proof.

Registration: Advance Registration ONLY. Payment must be received by 5 pm, November 18, 2022. NO onsite registration.
