2 sections: Open Section and Under 1500 Section

Prize Fund:  Open Section: $150-100-50 Guaranteed ($300 Total Guaranteed)

Under 1500 Section: $280 total b/10 entries in Under 1500 Section.

Registration and Entry Fee:

Register by Aug 30 (6pm) pay $40; 

After Aug 30 pay $50. 

Onsite registration 9:00-9:30 September 1; mandatory 1st round half point bye likely. 

Masters play for free; $30 deducted from prize.

USCF membership required. 

Time Control:  All sections G/70; delay 5.  Each player receives 70 minutes plus a 5 second delay to complete each game.

5 round Swiss System; Round Schedule (all rounds are at 10am):

Round 1: September 1, 10am;

Round 2: September 8, 10am;

Round 3: September 15, 10am;

Round 4: September 22, 10am;

Round 5: September 29, 10am

Optional half point bye allowed for any round declared before Round 3.

Eligibility:  For playing up in Open Section, the 100 point rule applies: minimum rating to enter Open section is 1400 (1399 or below are ineligible).

Cash prizes in Under 1500 Section based on 10 entries in U1500 :  $100-70; under 1300 prize $60; under 1100 prize $50

USCF Regular rating used for section eligibility, pairings, and prizes (Sept 2024 rating list).
