Registration and Entry Fee:
Register by March 1 pay $30;
Register March 2-8 pay $35;
Register March 9-15 pay $40;
Register March 16-20 (6pm) pay $45;
After March 20 pay $50.
Onsite registration 9:00-9:30 morning of tournament; mandatory 1st round half point bye likely.
Masters play for free; $30 deducted from prize.
USCF membership required.
Time Control: All sections G/65; delay 5. Each player receives 65 minutes plus a 5 second delay to complete each game.
3 round Swiss System; Round Schedule:
1st Round 10am;
2nd Round 1pm;
3rd Round 3:30pm
One single optional half point bye allowed for any round declared before Round 2.
Section choice guidelines: For "playing up" in Open, Under 2000 Section, Under 1800 Section, or Under 1600 Section, the 100 point guideline applies: minimum recommended rating to enter Open Section is 1900, minimum recommended rating to enter Under 2000 Section is 1700, minimum recommended rating to enter Under 1800 Section is 1500, and minimum recommended rating to enter Under 1600 Section is 1300.
