Douglas County Chess Open

Douglas County Chess Club (DCCC) will be sponsoring the Douglas County Open November 1-2, 2025, in the North Room at the Douglas County Community and Senior Center at 1329 Waterloo Ln, Gardnerville, NV. This will be a USCF rated 5 round SS, G/60. Rounds are Saturday at 8:15, 11:30 and 2:00, Sunday at 9:00, and Noon. There is no entry fee (free for all). USCF membership required, but DCCC will be offering a free one-year membership (or renewal) for all DCCC members, any junior (under 19), and any senior (over 65) residing in Douglas County. Cash prizes will be $300/$200/$100, plus $100 each for top under 21, top under 16, and top over 65. Limited to the first 50 registrants.
