August 3-4

• Play four long-time control games in one weekend! Earliest entry only $55.
• Three sections: Premier, U1800, and U1400
  • All sections USCF-rated, but only the Premier is FIDE-rated.
• Time control: game in 110 minutes with a 10-second increment
• Venue: Hampton Inn by Hilton Washington-Dulles International Airport South (4050 Westfax Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151)

Tournament Information:

• 4 round Swiss tournament.
• USCF regular rated. Top section also FIDE standard rated. Time control: Game in 110 minutes with a 10-second increment.
• Round times: Saturday at 2 pm, Saturday at 6:30 pm, Sunday at 10 am, Sunday at 3 pm
• Entry fee: $55 by 7/20, $60 by 7/27, $65 by 8/2, $70 on the day of the tournament.
  • National masters will current ratings over 2200 play for free ($55 entry deducted from prizes). Email Click here to show mail address to register for free as a 2200+ rated player.
• Three Sections: Premier, Under 1800, and Under 1400.
• PRIZES: $200 for 1st, $100 for 2nd in Premier; $100 for 1st in U1800, $100 for 1st in Under 1400.
• We will have enough chess sets for all players, but clocks will not be provided for everyone. If you have a clock, please bring one.
• This tournament is open to everyone (adults and children of any skill level).
• There is plenty of free parking at the playing venue.
