Event Overview
A casual, arena style tournament (open to all) with participation prizes for the first 50 players, along with a USCF rated tournament (USCF membership required for rated tournament) with sections by rating and age, along with trophies prizes for finalists.
One Day: Two Tournaments
A FREE casual, arena style chess tournament with participation prizes for the first 50 players. Play as many or as few games as you would like; it's up to you. Players will be paired with assistance from the tournament director. A casual, free, and open to everyone chess experience. Registration not required.
A FREE USCF rated tournament - Players must have a USCF membership to play in the rated section) with sections based on rating and age. Registration required.
SECTIONS:
Scholastic Sections (K-12):
10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (EST) - Please arrive by 10 AM
G/25 minute + 5 sec increment
4 USCF Rated Games
3U, 6U, 8U & 12U sections
USCF ID required
Trophies/Medals - TBD
TD may combine sections based on the number of participants
Players may play up if desired
OPEN Sections (Adults & Kids):
10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (EST) - Please arrive by 10 AM

PRO (1800+), RESERVE (U1800) & NOVICE (U1200) sections
USCF ID required

Players may play up one section; Must be within 200 points of section
UNRATED/CASUAL Arena:
Open to all ages and skills
USCF ID not required

1st Round starts at 10:30 am EST; Next rounds ASAP;
One 1/2 point bye allowed and request prior Round 2

No cell phones / devices during play; All devices off, face down on table is okay
Only USCF approved notation devices allowed
No eating during game
TD may combine sections based on turnout
