  • More advanced players may choose to play in the Queen section (Above 900).
  • The higher rated players are usually placed into the King section (Above 1300).
  • The AWE section is for all adults currently members of the uscf.
  •
  • All sections have 4 games for every player. Each round you will receive a new board number and a new opponent.
  • Games last approximately one hour. (G/30;d5) There is a game scheduled for 11:00, 12:00, 1:30 and 2:30. All games from the previous round must be completed before the next round can begin.

  • AWARDS: Trophies are awarded to the top 3 in each section (with a minimum of 12 players) If there are less than 12 players only two trophies will be awarded to that section. Any section with less than 6 players will be combined with another section.
  • Players who are not members of the uscf can purchase a one year membership for $9 at the check-in desk after you arrive (before 10:30) or during round 2. Players needing to renew their membership can do the same.
  • To start the round on time at 11:00 means that all players are already seated at their correct table by 11:00. Since many are still arriving they are causing an unnecessary delay in the start of the next rounds.
