Nine sections: FIDE Elite (1801+), FIDE Expert (1601-2200), FIDE Class (1401-2000), U1801, U1601, U1401, U1201, U1000, U1801 Senior (age 50 and older). Top three sections are FIDE rated. $18,000 prize pool based on 280 paid entries. FIDE sections offer customary 2- and 3-day schedules. For Under sections six rounds are scheduled; all players take one mandatory bye to play a five-game schedule. One optional half-point bye available in all sections. FIDE sections time control: 40/90,SD/30;+30 except 2-day schedule rounds 1 and 2 are G/75;d5. Under sections time control: G/110;d5. Hotel rates: double queen suite $124, king suite $114; supplemental block at Hampton Inn, double queen suite $132.
