3 events. Lecture and simul by special guest GM Varuzhan Akobian Friday evening, 7:00 pm. Entry $20. Registration 6:00-6:45.

Youth tournament (age 16 and under) Saturday morning 9:45, number of rounds and format TBD. Boards provided, clocks not required. Trophy prizes. Entry $10. Limited to 30 players.

Chinook Open. Sat.-Sun. Rds: 9:30, 1:30, 6:30; 9:00, 1:00 or ASAP. Time ctrl: G/90 +5. Entry $40, MCA and USCF membership required. Prizes: 1st-$1000, 2nd-$600, 3rd-$400; U2000-$500, U1800-$400, U1600-$300, U1400-$200, Upset-$100.

Registration times: Lecture/simul Friday 6:00-6:45pm. Chinook Open and youth tournament: Saturday 8:30-9:15.
