Chess Queen Quads 2

A three round US Chess-rated tournament open to all players - Kids and Adults.

Quads, which group players in sections of 4 by their rating level, are a great way for players to get closer matchups for a more fun and competitive challenge.

WHEN

Sunday, 6th April, 2025

REQUIREMENTS

• Participants must be members of the  US Chess Federation to play in Rated section.
• Non USCF members can play in Non rated section.

ROUND TIMES

Round 1: 3:30pm

Round 2: ASAP

Round 3: ASAP

End Time: Around 6:30pm based on last round.

Section: Open and grouped in Quad format. 

HOW IT WORKS

• Players must register in advance
• 3 US Chess regular and quick rated games of G20; increment 10 s
• Quad format - players placed into groups of 4 by their most current "live" US Chess regular rating to ensure closer matchups.
• Entries are first registered, first served

• IMPROVE - Game Analysis and training will be provided by our Coach Sasmita on request.

  TIME CONTROL

• G/20; Increment 10
• Each player receives 20 minutes plus a 10 second bonus each move to complete each game

• ENTRY FEE $20 per player.
