Event Overview

📣 Tournament Overview

The Charleston Scholastic Chess Tournament Series is a monthly set of official USCF-rated events designed to inspire young chess players and promote the growth of scholastic chess in the Charleston area. Open to all K–12 students, these tournaments offer a consistent and competitive environment where players can sharpen their skills and steadily improve their national ratings.

Scorekeeping (notation) is required in all rated games to encourage focus, strategic thinking, and thoughtful post-game analysis. New to notation? Don’t worry—everyone starts somewhere, and we’re here to help you learn.
