NO Residency or School Location Requirements: Open to all K-12 girls; or players in K-3

5 round Swiss System

2 separate sections: Girls Championship (K-12); K-3 Championship (boys and girls)

Prizes: Team, Individual, and Class Trophies.  Free entry to 1 (one) later 2024 Central North Carolina Championship series event (June 2; June 9; or July 20, 2024) to "plus scorers" of 3 points or more.

 

Registration and Entry Fee:

$40 Online by May 25 (6pm), or 

$55 Onsite registration 9:00-9:30 morning of tournament; mandatory 1st round half point bye likely

. 

USCF membership required; Dragon Knight Chess will use vouchers to create new scholastic memberships. 

Time Control: Both sections G/25; delay 5.  Each player receives 25 minutes plus a 5 second delay to complete each game.

Onsite registration 9:00-9:30 morning of tournament; mandatory 1st round half point bye likely.

5 round Swiss System; Round Schedule:

1st Round 10am;

2nd Round 11am;

3rd Round 1pm;

4th Round 2pm;

5th Round 3pm

Optional half point bye allowed for any round declared before Round 3.

USCF Regular rating used for section eligibility, pairings, and prizes (May 2024 rating list). NO Residency or School Location Requirements: Open to all K-12 girls or players in K-3
