MAY 20: CCA May Action on ICC5-SS, G/30+10, at Internet Chess Club. Must be on Zoom (use real name) to be eligible for prizes; see ccazoom.com. $80 prize limit if no Zoom side/rear camera angle. In 2 sections; higher of Online Regular or OTB Regular rating used. Open Section: Open to all. 5 points wins $500, 4.5 $300, 4 $160, 3.5 (2000/up) $60, 3.5 (Under 2000) $120, 3 (Under 2000) $60. Under 1700/Unr Section: 5 points wins $400, 4.5 $250, 4 $150, 3.5 (1400/up) $50, 3.5 (Under 1400/Unr) $120, 3 (Under 1400/Unr) $60. Entry fee $65 at chessaction.com by 5/18, $85 by 11 am EDT 5/20. New players (first CCA event on ICC) enter by 5/18 or risk not being paired for round 1. GMs $50 from prize. Log into playcca.com 30 minutes before game. Rounds begin EDT 12 noon, 2 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm, 8 pm. Half point byes: Available all rounds, limit 2 byes, must be claimed with registration & cannot be changed.
