Awards:

• Individual Awards
  • Trophies to all players with a winning record.
  • Medals to all players who do not get a trophy.
• School & Club Team Awards
  • Trophies to all school & Club teams.
  • A team (school or club) has a minimum of 2 players; a team’s score is the sum of the top 3 players’ scores

• K-8 u1200:
  • Time: Sun, Apr 28 starting from 9:00am
  • Time Control: 5 x G/25 d5
• K-3 800+:
  • Time: Sat, Apr 27 to Sun, Apr 28 starting from 9:00am on both days
  • Time Control: 6 x G/65 d5
• K-8 1200+:
  • Time: Sat, Apr 27 to Sun, Apr 28 starting from 9:00am on both days
  • Time Control: 6x G/70 d5
• Bughouse:
  • Time: Sat, Apr 27 starting from 5:30pm
  • Time Control: G/5
• Blitz:
  • Time: Sat, Apr 27 starting from 7:30pm
  • Time Control: G/3 d2

Bye Rules:

• Please request a bye in advance if you will miss a game for any reason.
• Maximum of one ½-point bye. Any other byes will be 0-point byes.
• ½-point byes are available for all rounds except the last game (round).
• If you request more than one bye, we will give you a ½-point for the latest round possible (except for the last round) and 0-point bye(s) for all other games.
• Missing a game without requesting a bye results in an automatic removal because making other players wait without a game is bad etiquette.

Other requirements:

• USCF membership must be active
• K-3 sections are open to Kindergarten to Grade 3 only
• K-8 sections are open to Kindergarten to Grade 8 only
