Brookline Blitz Championship

Format: 14SS, G/3 + 2 – Seven Double Rounds (one game each color)
Round 1 starts around 2:00 PM. Rounds continuous. ends by 5:00 PM
 

SECTIONS (3 USCF RATED - USCF membership required)

• Championship Section (1600+) – highest level experienced players, $50 EF
  • • GM’s, IM’s, WIM’s Free Entry – please email organizer
• U1600 Championship Section – $50 EF
• U1200 Section – adults & students, $40 EF

PRIZES $1000 b/30 Paid Entries Plus Championship Trophies

• CHAMPIONSHIP SECTION (1600+ RATING): Overall Champions = $300 – $150 – $100
  • • Championship Trophies for Overall – 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place
    • Class Prize U1800 (Open Section) = 1st Place Championship Trophy
• U1600 SECTION: Overall Champions = $200 – $100 – $50
  • • U1600 Trophies 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place
    • U1400 Trophy – 1st Place Trophy
• U1200 SECTION = Championship Trophies 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
  • • Class Prize U800 (U1200 Section) = 1st Place Trophy
• BROOKLINE PRIZE = $100, Player must have 14/14 perfect score in blitz = SPECIAL TROPHY
