Please note that the hotel offers FREE parking during the day and a FREE shuttle to/from the terminal every 15 mins. It is conveniently located on the Silver line Metro station. Players can use Washington Dulles Airport road (NO TOLL) to reach the venue.

4 Rounds Swiss

The first round starts at 3:00 PM and subsequent rounds occur as soon as possible.

Time Control: G/25;d5  

Sections: K-12.

Eligibility: Only K-12 students can play in the K-12 section. 

Prizes:

Every participant gets a medal. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers. 

Byes: Limit one half-point bye. Bye must be committed 1 hr before Round 1 (2:00 PM on 9/20)

Withdrawals are subject to a $10 processing fee. Full credit can be used for any future ACA tournament.

Entry Fee: $40 by 9/6, $45 by 9/13, $55 on or after 9/14 (on-site registration closes 30 minutes before round 1)

Boards and pieces will be provided, but please bring your own chess clock.
