• Rounds: 4-round Swiss
• Time Control: G/15; d3
• Entry Fee: $20 + tax
• Sections: Rated & Unrated
• Prizes: Based on entries, 2.5x entry fees returned per section
• Requirements: Rated section requires a current USCF ID
• Please bring a tournament clock
• Tiebreaks: Head to Head | Modified Median | Solkoff | Cumulative

♟️Special Awards

• Rated Section: 3 month MUV Fitness membership (details with Kenny, General Manager of MUV Fitness) or $50 cash prize
• Unrated Section: Winner’s choice of a 1 year USCF membership or $45 cash prize

• Hosted at Grit Grounds Coffee where coffee and other beverages are available for purchase throughout the event
• The tournament takes place in an open public area, and some outside noise is expected
• Ear muffs and earplugs will be provided for players who prefer a quieter playing experience
• A competitive yet welcoming atmosphere, ideal for players who love both the game and the community around it
