Event Overview
- It's a 3 round tournament with 1 game each Monday night at 7:30 PM from December 5th to December 19th.
- Time control will be G/60 D/5.
- The tournament will be Quads with the lowest section being a Swiss if necessary. The pairings will be randomly determined by the WinTD software, however everyone will play everyone else in their Quad. If you are unrated then you will be put in the lowest Quad.
- Capacity is 40 registered players but more spectators are allowed.
- You can Register in Advance by email or text or in person from 6:30-7:10 pm.
- You can pay cash/check or Venmo: @Louis-Winokur (Note: you can register in advance and pay in person)
- As it's a Quad if you cannot play a round then you forfeit for that round. (The game is not rated but your opponent gets 1 point to their score for prizes.) Out of respect for your opponent, please still let me know if you cannot play in the tournament for that round by 7:10 pm the day of the tournament. If you do not show up 30 minutes after the round start then you forfeit.
- Entry fee is $20 for Members and $25 for Non-Members. Prizes are dependent on entries and will most likely be posted right after the end of the first round. Membership is $20 for <18 and >=65 and $25 for Adults.
