• You must log in or sign up before you can register.
• Online registration closes at 12:00 a.m. the day of the tournament.
• Onsite registration is subject to availability ($20 additional fee incurred).
• Late fees ($10) may be applied on November 27 or when reaching capacity.

  • Fri, Nov. 28 - 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • 4SS G/25 d5
• Signature Quads:
  • Sat, Nov. 29 - 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • 3RR G/25 d5
• Chess4Less Quads:
  • Sat, Nov. 29 - 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • 3RR G/25 d5

Awards:

• Signature Events:
  • BA€oins (More Info)
    • 6 BA€oins per point
    • 3 - 18/24 BA€oins per tourney
    • 0 BA€oins Extra-Rated Games
  • A player who withdraws during the tournament is NOT eligible for BA€oins.
• Chess4Less:
  • No awards.

Sections:

• Quads:
  • Players will be placed into groups of 4 based on the November 2025 Published Supplement rating.
• Swiss:
  • Players will be placed into 3 sections based on the published USChess rating supplement.
  • A player may pay to play up one higher section (300 rating range difference), double play up is NOT allowed .
    (Note: The rating used to determine if a player may play up is their November 2025 Published Supplement rating.)

Fees:

• Signature Swiss: $49
  • play-up fee: +$11
• Signature Quads: $39
• Chess4Less Quads: $29
• Discount for BayAreaChess Premium/Basic Members (More Info)
• Late fees, starting:
  • Nov. 27: +$10
• Access Passes info available on registration page.
• Onsite fee: +$20 (membership discounts are not redeemable onsite)

Withdrawals:

• Withdrawals are eligible for a partial refund, subject to the following deductions:
  • until Nov. 26, 4% processing fee.
  • on Nov. 27, $10 withdrawal fee + 4% processing fee.
  • from Nov. 28 onward, NO REFUND will be issued.
• Only withdrawals made before or on Nov. 27 are eligible for refund.

Other requirements:

• USCF membership must be active.
