• Onsite registration is subject to availability (additional fee incurred).
• Late fees may be applied a day before tournament or when reaching capacity.

• Cash Day Swiss:
  • First round starts at 9:30am (Click here for full schedule and more info)
  • Time Control: G/61 d5
  • Rounds: 4
  • ½-point Byes are available for any round (maximum 2; byes must be requested at least 1 hour before that round's start except last round byes; last round bye must be requested latest before Round 3)
  • 0-point Byes are available for any round (player must play at least half the rounds to be eligible for prizes)

Awards/Prizes:

• Cash Day Swiss:
  • Prize Fund: $1,000 b/32 entries (Click here for prize distribution info)
  • Regular entry winners get full prize, Econ entry winners get 50% prize
  • Unrated winners: Max $60 (except in the top section)
  • If sections are combined, prizes for the sections will be combined and play-up fee for the higher section will be refunded
  • A player who withdraws during the tournament is not eligible for prize money
  • Prizes will be paid out by check (mail), PayPal or Zelle

Sections:

• Cash Day Swiss:
  • Players will be placed into 4 sections based on published USChess rating supplement
  • A player may pay to play up one higher section based on published USChess rating supplement (300 rating range difference, except for highest section), double play up is not allowed
  • To play in the highest section, players' published USChess rating supplement must within 200 rating range difference
