• Online registration closes at midnight on the day of tournament.

• Late fees ($20) applied a day before tournament.

Schedule:

• First round starts at 9:30am
• ½-point Byes are available for any round (maximum 2; byes must be requested at least 1 hour before that round's start except last round byes; last round bye must be requested latest before Round 3)
• 0-point Byes are available for any round (player must play at least half the rounds to be eligible for prizes)

Prizes:

• Prize Fund: $1,000 b/32 entries
• Regular entry winners get full prize, Econ entry winners get 50% prize
• Unrated winners: Max $60 (except in the top section)
• If sections are combined, prizes for the sections will be combined and play-up fee for the higher section will be refunded
• A player who withdraws during the tournament is not eligible for prize money
• Prizes will be paid out by check (mail), PayPal or Zelle

Sections:

• Players will be placed into 4 sections based on published USChess rating supplement
• A player may pay to play up one higher section (300 rating range difference), double play up is not allowed
• To play in the 1800+ section, players' published USChess rating supplement must be at least 1600

Other requirements:

• USCF membership must be active
