Entry Fee: $5 on site only, or pre-register by contacting TD.
Prize Fund: 80-90% of entry fees.
Adult sections: 3 Round Swiss. Time control: G60/inc 5.
Registration: 9:15-9:45am - Rounds@10:00/12:15/2:30
Sections will be formed based on number of entrants.
½ point byes available. Must commit before Rd 1. Limit 1.
This tournament includes a scholastic section as follows:
Scholastic Section Requirements: Age 12 and under, rating under 800.
3 Round Swiss. Time control: G30/inc 5
Round Times: 10:00/11:00/12:00.
Registration same as above.
We have plenty of sets & boards, but if you own a chess clock please bring it.
City of Asheville Mask Policy
The City of Asheville owns the North Asheville Community Center.
The city has mandated that anyone entering a city-owned building must wear a mask.
The mask should fully cover your mouth and nose.
