Individual and School Team USCF rated Chess Tournaments. Only for K-12 students. Free Lecture by National Master Jason Garfield! Parent Tournament! --- Parent and Child results are combined to compete for Top 3 Family Trophies. All levels are welcome! No rating limit. USCF Membership is required for Main and Blitz events.

MORNING SCHOLASTIC CHAMPIONSHIP: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Format: 4 Rounds Swiss Game in 25/5d. Entry Fee: $65 by 12/20, $70 by 1/10, $75 by 1/14, $80 by 1/16, $85 Same Day. Sections: K-1, K-3, K-6, and K-12. Prizes: Trophy for every Kindergarten! Big Trophy for top 5 in all sections. Trophy for Best U1000 and U500 in each section. Trophy for Top 3 School Team.

AFTERNOON SCHOLASTIC SECTIONAL: 2:30 PM – 6:45 PM Format: 4 Rounds Swiss Game in 25/5d. Entry Fee: $65 by 12/20, $70 by 1/10, $75 by 1/14, $80 by 1/16 $85 Same Day. Sections: Open (1400 and up), U1400, U1000, and U500. Prizes: Trophy for every Kindergarten! Big Trophy for Top 5 in all sections. 6th and 7th Place in U1000 and U500.

BUGHOUSE CHALLENGE: 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM. Format: 4 Rounds Swiss Game in 5/0. Entry Fee: $25. Sections: Under 1000 and Over 1000. Prizes: Trophy for top 3 in each section. 

BLITZ TOURNAMENT: 7:00 PM – 8:15 PM. Format: 6 Rounds Swiss Game in 3/2s inc. Entry Fee: $25. Sections: Under 1200 and Over 1200. Prizes: Trophy for Top 3 in each section.

PARENT TOURNAMENT AM: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Format: 3 Rounds Swiss Game in 25/5d. Entry Fee: $25. Unrated Section. No USCF needed. Prizes: Trophy for Top 3 parents. Trophy for Top 3 Family (Combined score Parent + Child playing in AM main event).

Half point BYE available in ALL rounds (Max 2) for ALL events and must be requested before Round 2. 

Refund Policy: No refund. Full credit towards next event if canceling by Saturday 1/17 at 7:00 AM in case of emergency.
