April Game 40 Challenge

4 round Swiss at the Phoenix Chess Academy. Time control: Game in 40 minutes with 5 sec delay. Boards, sets, clocks and scoresheets will be provided. Entry Fee: $30.00 by Wednesday; $35 by Friday; $40 same day. Prizes: Trophies for top three in each section.  Sections: Open, Under 1700, Under 1200 & Under 700. No playing up allowed for Open and U1700. Players Under 700 can play in the U1200 section. Schedule: Round 1- 9:00 AM, Round 2- 10:30 AM, Round 3- 12:00 PM, Round 4- 1:30 PM. Awards Ceremony will start right after last game is over.  Half point Byes are available in all 4 round (Max 2) and must be requested before round 2.
