OVERVIEW

The American Open Scholastic Tournaments runs concurrently with the Main Event of the 60th American Open. It has three divisions, Novice, Junior Varsity, and Varsity, which occurs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the Thanksgiving weekend. The Scholastic tournaments are open to all players in kindergarten to 12th Grade.

The Junior Varsity (JV) Division has five rounds and is a one-day, rated tournament. The JV Saturday schedule is for players in K-5th grade, while JV Sunday schedule is for K-12th Graders.
