U2000, U1200, U800 & U400 (USCF-rated)

Development (Unrated): Ideal for beginners; USCF membership not required

U2000 is open to players rated 1100 and above only

Eligibility is based on the January USCF rating

TIME CONTROL

U2000: G/45 d5, 3 rounds; U1200: G/35 d5, 4 rounds

U800 & U400: G/25 d5, 5 rounds; Development: G/15 d5, 6 rounds

ENTRY FEE

FREE for players rated 1600+ during early bird period and HALF PRICE for siblings and adult players

$50 (early bird, by 01/21) | $55 (01/22-01/27) | $60 (01/28–11:59pm 01/30) | $65 on-site

($15 more for players rated 1100-1199 competing in U2000)

PRIZE

U2000: $100 for 1st place

U1200: Trophies for top 3; Medals for 2.0+ points

U800, U400 & Development: Trophies for top 3: Medals for 2.5+ points

SCHEDULE (Start Time)

U2000: 1:15pm/3:15pm/5:15pm (~ +/- 30 minutes)

U1200: 1:00pm/2:30pm/4:00pm/5:30pm (~ +/- 30 minutes)

U800 & U400: 1:30pm/2:30pm/3:30pm/4:30pm/5:30pm (~ +/- 30 minutes)

Development: 1:15pm/1:55pm/2:35pm/3:15pm/3:55pm/4:35pm/ (~ +/- 30 minutes)

Cancellation: $15 fee by 01/20 for credit only. Section change: $10 for after registration

Onsite registration: Opens 15 minutes before and closes at 5 minutes before round 1

Check-in required: Please arrive 10 minutes early or you may not be paired for round 1

Equipment Provided: Chess sets, boards, clocks and notation sheets
