PRIZE FUND: $600 based on 30 Rated Players. THAT IS 80% of the Entry Fee.

The Prize Fund will increase with more than 32 rated players entering the tournament.

U.S. Chess Federation Membership is required and available at the tournament.

FORMAT: 4 Games (No elimination).                 Time Control Game 60 minutes; delay 5 seconds

Under-1600                1st U-1600 $90, 1st U-1400 $70, 1st U-1200 $50

Under-1000                1st U-1000 $65, 1st U-800 $45, 1st Unrated players only eligible for $40

Unrated players must play in the Under-1000 Section

IRREVOCABLE BYES: One 1/2-point round 4 bye specified before round 2 pairings, others before round starts.

CHESS SETS, and CHESS CLOCKS will be provided. However, if you have a set, you would rather use, you may

substitute your equipment for any round with the approval of the player of the black pieces for that pairing.

WMCA MEMBERSHIP: $15 per year NOT required. It includes the 18th WMCA Free tournament & $5 off at WMCA

tournaments, including this one, voting rights, & any privileges added during membership.
