FOUR Sections (USCF-rated)

U1800, U1200, U800 & U400

U1800 section is open to players rated 1100 and above

40 players capacity (first come, first serve!)

 

TIME CONTROL

U1800: G/50 d5, 3 rounds; U1200: G/40 d5, 4 rounds;

U800 & U400: G/25 d5, 5 rounds

 

ENTRY FEE (half price for adults)

For U1800 section only:

$20 before 01/01 / $25 btwn 01/02 & 01/06, $30 thereafter /onsite

($20 more for players rated 1100-1199)

For other sections:

$45 before 01/01 / $55 btwn 01/02 & 01/06, $65 thereafter /onsite

PRIZE

U1800: $40 for 1st place

U1200: Trophies for top 3 and medals for 2.0pt & above finishes 

U800 & U400: Trophies for top 3 and medals for 2.5pt & above finishes

 

SCHEDULE

U1800: 12:45pm/2:45pm/4:45pm (~ +/- 20 minutes)

U1200: 12:30pm/2:15pm/4:00pm/5:30pm (~ +/- 20 minutes)

U800 & U400: 2:00pm/3:00pm/4:00pm/5:00pm/6:00pm (~ +/- 20 minutes)

$15 admin fee for cancellation by 12/30 only. / $10 for section change after registration

Onsite registration starts at 10 minutes and closes at 5 minutes before 1st round.

Arrival before 5 minutes is required for check-in. Otherwise, you will not be paired for 1st round.
