4th Annual Northern VT Chess Tournament
Date: Sunday November 29, 2026 (Sunday after Thanksgiving)

SCHOLASTIC 4 USCF Rated Games G/30;d5 (30 minutes for each player 5 second delay on each move)
Sections: Elementary (K-2), Elementary (3-5), Middle (6-8), HS (9-12)

Individual and Team Trophies by Section
Top 4 scores from each school make up that school’s team score (minimum 2 players to form a team)
ADULTS play quads for cash (no trophies)
GENERAL INFORMATION
Check In: 9:30am
Round 1 at 10am with each subsequent round to start after 5-10 minute break
No lunch break - players eat between rounds
Boards, Pieces, Clocks and Notation paper supplied
Registration Online Only: $20 until Fri Nov 20th midnight, $30 until Fri Nov 27th at 6pm
Registration closes Fri Nov 27th at 6pm
No walk-ins
