Min/Peak Rating in Open Section: Peaked USCF/FIDE 1800 since June supplement. USCF/FIDE 1700-1800 pay $300 more. No players allowed if peak USCF/FIDE rating under 1700.

Entry Fees: Open 5-day only: Early bird $205 by 9/8, $230 Regular Entry by 9/29, $250 Late Entry by 10/8, $270 after 10/8 and online until 10/10 12pm (GMs/IMs/ WGMs/WIMs Free; $120 deducted from prize winnings). Reduced Entry fee (less $80) for other Foreign players. U2000/U1600: Early bird $140 by 9/8, $165 Regular Entry by 9/29, $185 Late Entry by 10/8, $205 after 10/8 and online until 10/11 12pm. U1200 $20 less. Re-Entry $60 in U2100/U1600/U1200 (No re-entry Open to Open). Refunds/Withdrawls: 10% service fee until Oct 8th; 50% service fee after Oct 8th.

U2000 3-day Rounds 1 & 2 not FIDE Rated. U2000/U1600/U1200 3-day merges with 4-day in Rd. 3 on Sat 5pm.

Half-point byes: Open Section (limit 3); U2000/U1600/U1200 (limit 2). Latest deadline to request byes is 1 hr prior to Rd 3. Withdrawls without notifying 1hr prior to Round start will incur a $200 penalty and if its last round, penalty imposed for future events organized by Capital Area Chess.
