Play Chess in a Castle. Join us for the 3rd Annual Historic Warren Armory Chess Tournament 
Event will be held in this historic 1842 Military Armory, $500 Prizes plus Trophies

Format: 4SS, G/30; d5 – 4 Rounds.
Round 1 starts around 10:00 AM. 
Rounds will be continuous, 30-40 Min Break for Lunch after Rd. 2
 

Sections & Prizes - $500 b/30 paid Entries from Open/U1600
* OPEN Section = $200 – $100, Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
* U1600 Section = $100 – $50, Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
* Class Prize Biggest Upset $50 (Open/U1600 Sections)
* U1200 Section = Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, medals
* U800 Section = Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, medals
 

Entry Fees
U1200, U800: Early-Bird Only $30 by 6/15. Add $5 - 6/16-6/20
OPEN / U1600: EARLY-BIRD Only $35 by 6/15. Add $5 - 6/16-6/20

** All Discounted Memberships must be done IN ADVANCE by 6/20. and NOT ON-SITE
 

Additional Tournament Information

* Additional Parking behind Warren Town Hall, 514 Main Street, Warren RI
* Air Conditioning will be provided in the Tournament Room
* Skittles Room Provided, Coffee Shop on same street
* Free Tour of the Armory during Lunch
* Lunch break provided, multiple restaurants in neighborhood
* Round 1 will start at 10:00 AM, runs continuously except for lunch break
* Lunch break after Round 2 (around 12:15-12:30)
* U1200 / U800 Sections will finish around 2:30 PM
* OPEN / U1600 Sections around 3:30 PM
* Byes must be requested in advance
* Late entries paired if possible or get 1/2 point bye.
* You may arrive at 11:00 for 2nd Round, 1/2 point bye for Rd 1 
* Players can always play “up” in a higher section
* Chess sets & clocks will be provided
