Round 1 starts around 12:00 PM (Noon)
 

SECTIONS & PRIZES, $250 = Guaranteed
* OPEN = $100 – $50, Plus Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
U1500 Class Prizes– $75 – $25, 1st Place Trophy
* U1000 = Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
U600 Class Prize = 1st Place Trophy, Medals
* Unrated = (Adults & Kids) Trophy for 1st place, Medals 2nd & 3rd Place

Round Times & Information
* This is both an Adult & Kids Tournament Event. Anyone can play in a higher section
* Round 1 will start at 12:00 PM (Noon) for All Sections. No Lunch Break. Full food available at 4:00 PM
* Unrated section is for both Scholastics & Adults
* Players who arrive late after the start of Round 1 will receive a 1/2 pt. bye or may be paired with late arrivals.
* Byes must be requested in advance.
* On-site Entries must register 15 minutes before 11:45 or risk 1/2 point bye
* Please register in advance by 12/15/2023 @ 10:00PM. Late or On-site entry or day of event is $5 more

Tournament Entry Fees
* EF $30 for OPEN / U1500 Section. Late entry is $5 more 
* EF $22 for U1000 / U600 Section. Late entry $5 more 
* EF: $22 for UNRATED Section (Adult/Kids), Late entry is $5 more

* 1st-TIME STUDENT TOURNAMENT DISCOUNT = $27 INCLUDES FREE USCF “YOUTH” MEMBERSHIP WORTH $20
(Age 3-18) Must be new USCF Membership, No renewals, done in advance, not on-site, play in U600 & U1000 Sections

* 1st-TIME YOUNG ADULT TOURNAMENT DISCOUNT = $35 INCLUDES FREE USCF “YOUNG ADULT” MEMBERSHIP WORTH $27
(Age 19-23). Must be new USCF Membership, No renewals, done in advance, not on-site, play in U1500 & Open Sections

* THIS EVENT IS QUICK RATED ONLY – REGULAR RATING WILL NOT BE AFFECTED
* This Events is perfect for 1st-Time Beginner scholastic or adults – Regular Rating not affected
* Pub / Restaurant will be used exclusively for tournament not open to public until 4:00 PM
* This is both an Adult & Kids Tournament Event. Anyone can play in a higher section
* Please sign up early, Limited space to first 56 players.
* Lower sections finish around 2:30 – 3:00 PM. Higher sections by 4:00 PM.
* Food will be available later in afternoon after 3:00 – 4:00 PM
* Beer/Drinks available after tournament. Must be 21 years old.
* Chess sets & clocks will be provided.
* Late Entries will receive 1/2 pt. bye or be paired if possible
