LOCATION

Piermont Community Center, 204 Hudson Terrace, Piermont, NY 10968

Through the main door, up the steps, down the hall, on the left.

• Free Parking. Street parking available if the main lot is full. DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS!
• Wheelchair accessible.
• Bathrooms on location.
• Free water, coffee, and snacks. (Also bring your own or some to share!)
• All equipment provided.

FORMAT

TWO STAGES --

Qualifier Stage: Standard Swiss System to determine the elimination stage.

Double Elimination Bracket Stage: Lose two games and you're out.

When you register you will register for the "Qualifier."

TIME CONTROL

G/3+2 (both stages)

QUALIFIER STAGE

5 Rounds Swiss System, Round 1 will start promptly at 11 am & rounds will continue ASAP for ~1-1.5 hours, followed by a short break.

DOUBLE ELIMINATION STAGE

Championship Bracket for top half of the Qualifier. Challenger Bracket for bottom half of the Qualifier.

Double Elimination Blitz G/3+2, ~7-9 rounds with winner and losers brackets. Drawn games will have a tie break game of G/3+0. This stage may last about ~1.5-2 hours.

PRIZES

~$650 based on 30 players. (subject to change up or down)

Championship Bracket: First Place = Championship Trophy + $200; Second Place $150; Third Place $100; Fourth Place $50 gift certificate to Coffee Ride Cafe

Challenger Bracket: First Place $120; Second Place $80; Third Place $50 gift certificate to Coffee Ride Cafe

A portion of all proceeds will also be donated to the Piermont Community Center.

ENTRY FEES

Early Entry Fee: $40 Before 1/14/26 @ 11:59pm.

Late Entry Fee: $50 1/15/26 - 1/16/26 @ 11:59pm.

Registration Ends 1/16/26 @ 11:59 pm

Minimum 8 players, Maximum 40 players.  If 16 or fewer players register, the Qualifier Stage will be skipped and the prizes may be reduced.
