Hotel Information: For those of you who need sleeping rooms, we will be offering multiple "chess rate" room blocks for discounted room rates. There will be at least two hotels to choose from within walking distance, including the Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn. The Hampton Inn is right in front of the Conference Center (only about a 10-second walk). The Holiday Inn is about a three-minute walk, but offers additional amenities that some players might prefer, such as a sit-down restaurant. The Hampton Inn offers free breakfast, but the Holiday Inn does not. We may also offer a Marriott room block. This information is subject to change, and the room blocks could be closed by the hotel at any time. Please check the registration page for up-to-date information about discounted sleeping rooms.

  • Four rounds. Round times are as follows: 11 am, 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 4 pm

  • Four sections: K-12, K-8, K-5, and K-3

  • Trophies will be awarded to the top five finishers in each section

  • Time control: Game in 25 minutes with a 5-second delay

  • Entry fee: $35 by 3/31, $40 by 4/21, $45 by 5/4, $50 on 5/5 (on-site registration closes 30 minutes before round 1)

  • Masks are optional

  • Boards and pieces will be provided for all players

  • This tournament is US Chess rated

  • PARKING INFORMATION: There is plenty of parking at the Executive Conference Center. The Conference Center owns all of the hotel properties nearby, so we also have permission to use any of the nearby hotel parking lots.
