ROUNDS: 3-day: 7/2 – 10 & 3, 7/3 – 10:30 & 4, 7/4 – 10 & 3. 2-day: 7/3 – 9, 11:15, 1:30, & 4, 7/4 – 10 & 3

TIME CONTROLS: G/90 +30 inc, 2-day: Rounds 1-3, G/61 d5, Rounds 4-6, G/90 +30 inc.  

SECTIONS: Master/Expert (above 1999) - FIDE Rated, Reserve (U2000), Senior (age 50+)

ENTRY FEES:  $99 postmarked by 6/25.  $119 after 6/25. IMs/GMs free.  Entrants may play up one section (max 200 points) for $20.  $5 discount to CalChess members (excluding reentries).  Reentry after round 2 of the 3-day schedule: $50.

PRIZES: Master/Expert 1st Place $800 & trophy, 2nd Place $550, 3rd Place $400.  1st Place Reserve   $700 & trophy.  Prize fund of $5,850 based on 90 full paid entries (with 75 full paid entries, the prize fund will be $4,680).  Separate Senior Prize Fund: 1st Place $700 + trophy, 2nd Place: $475, 3rd Place: $300 and class prizes.  Senior Prize fund based on 30 full paid entries.  More prize fund info on the tournament flyer.

OTHER INFO: Wheelchair Access.  07/22 rating list, CCA minimums, and/or TD Discretion.  The Master/Expert section FIDE rated using USCF rules and pairings.  E-mail address and date of birth required for all entrants.  Players in the Senior Section must be 50 years old on or before 7/2/2022.  Please bring clocks. ½ point byes available in any round and must be requested before the completion of the previous round.  Maximum two ½ point byes per entry.  ½ point byes for rounds 5 & 6 must be requested prior to round 1 and may not be changed.
