Open to US Chess players of all ages. We extend a special welcome to college students who either who aren’t playing on their college team in the Pan-Ams, or who don’t have enough players for a team.

Three Sections:  Premier (1800+), Reserve (1200-1799), Booster (U1200)
US Chess official regular rating for December 2025 will be used to determine sections.

Schedule: 10:00am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm, 5:30pm

One 1/2 bye OK any round, must commit by end of round 2

Entry Fee:

Open and Reserve sections: $65 by 12/20, $75 by 12/27, $85 after 12/27 and until 9:30 a.m. on 1/3

Booster section: $45 by 12/20, $55 by 12/27, $65 after 12/27 and until 9:30 a.m. on 1/3

Play up one section for $20.

Prizes: 

Premier section (1800+): $700-$500-$300, U2200: $225-$125, U2000: $225-$125, Best College Player*: $100

Reserve section (1200-1799): $500-$300-$200, U1600: $175-$125, U1400: $175-$125, best unrated: $75, Best College Player*: $100

Booster section (U1200):  $350-$200-$125, U1000: $100-$75; best unrated $75

*Best college prize goes to the college player with the best score who has not already won a higher prize in their section.
