January Open – Day Knight Chess Free USCF-Rated Tournament

🕚 Check in & Pizza: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
♟️ Round 1 Starts: 12:00 PM sharp
⚠️ Player Capacity: Limited to 100 participants.
💸 Entry:
✅ FREE for all participants!
🏆 Sections:
- All sections are USCF rated.
- Open Section is both USCF & FIDE rated.
- If you are unrated, choose U600 section.
U600, U1000 Section & U1400 – 4 Rounds (G/25; d5)
⏱️ Round 1: 12:00 PM
⏱️ Round 2: 1:10 PM
⏱️ Round 3: 2:20 PM
⏱️ Round 4: 3:30 PM
Each player gets 25 minutes with a 5-second delay before their clock starts.
Open Section – 3 Rounds (G/45+0)
⏱️ Round 1: 12:00 PM
⏱️ Round 2: 1:45 PM
⏱️ Round 3: 3:30 PM
Each player gets 45 minutes to complete their moves.
🏅 Prizes:
Trophies for the Top 3 in each section & a Gift Raffle for all participants.

This event simulates real tournament conditions to help students gain confidence in competitive play. It's also a great chance for rated players to challenge themselves and boost their USCF ratings.
