Prizes: Open: $400-200; $100 to Top U2000, Trophy to Champion. U1800: $250-150; $100 to Top U1500, Trophy to Amateur Champion. U1200: Trophy to Top 3, Top U900, U700, U500, Unrated. NER: Trophy to Top 3, Top Parent. (Open event.) Halloween Prizes: Trophies for top costumes; sweet treats (candy) for players; all welcome to compete in costume and in costume competition. (Costume not required to participate in the chess tournament.) Tiebreak: For 4-0 ties: a) G/10+3 game; if drawn, b) G/3+2 game; if drawn, c) G/5/4+2 game. Seeding/color by USCF tiebreaks.
