Queen City Chess NH Classical League is your opportunity to deep dive into your chess improvement with long-form chess. Play one rated game per month against a well-matched opponent, leading to a highly engaging game experience.
Prizes: Quarterly and end of year prizes awarded for top performances!

2026 Schedule
Our games are typically held the First Saturday of the month. (See dates below for exceptions due to holiday conflict or snow emergency).
Time Control
G/90;+10 (90 minutes per side with 10 second increment)
Timeline
9:00am - Check in; Setup; Pre-game warmup: (group discussion on tactics, game analysis and puzzles)
9:30am - Check-in closes; pairings formulated. Games begin as soon as possible.
Important: Please arrive no later than 9:30 AM to ensure a pairing for the day. Allow time for parking!

📍 Location & Logistics
- Venue: YMCA of Downtown Manchester, 30 Mechanic St. 2nd Floor, Studio A.
- Parking: Metered on-street parking is limited. A better option is the parking garage one block away at 2-98 Plaza Dr.
- Accessibility: Elevator from street level is available. Please ring the buzzer for assistance.
