SECTIONS:

All players will be divided into 3 sections:

SECTION A: 2100+  Open USCF rated or Fide rated

SECTION B: 1700 - 2099 Open USCF rated Fide rated

SECTION C: 0 - 1699 Open USCF rated

**Players are allowed to play up within a 100 points from the required rating for a fee and play up fee non-refundable**
 

ENTRY FEES:

Early Bird: $200 before 11:59 PM September 13h, 2026

Standard Fee: $250 before 11:59 October 3rd, 2026

Late Fee: $300 after October 3rd, 2026

 

PRIZES:

Section A: $2500, $1000, $500

Section B: $1000, $500, $250

Section C: $800, $400, $200

NOTE: Players who win prizes must provide us with their Paypal information or wait until the section is completed to receive cash prizes.

TIME CONTROL:

Section A: G/90, increment 30 seconds (90 minutes per player with a 30 second increment per move)

Section B: G/90, increment 30 seconds (90 minutes per player with a 30 second increment per move)

Section C: G/90, increment 30 seconds (90 minutes per player with a 30 second increment per move)

SECTIONS A, B and C:

R1: Friday, October 9th, 6:00pm
R2: Saturday, October 10th, 10:00am
R3: Saturday, October 10th, 4:00pm
R4: Sunday, October 11th, 10:00am
R5: Sunday, October 11th, 4:00pm
R6: Monday, October 12th, 9:00am
R7: Monday, October 12th, 3:00pm
 

Closing ceremony for each section will take place after the final round of that section.

NOTE: Half-point byes are acceptable for all rounds, limit 1. Must commit before the 1st round.

PLAYERS MAY NOT POSSESS CELL PHONES DURING THE TOURNAMENT.  Please leave your phone at home, in your car, or turned off (vibrate/silent not acceptable) on top of your table.

Any violators may be subject to disqualification and forfeiture.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you do not wish to participate in our tournament after paying the entry fee, please email us at [email protected].

• Cancellations made 7+ days before the event receive an 80% refund.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the event receive a 50% refund.
• No refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the first round start time.
• No-shows will not receive a refund.
   

WITHDRAWAL POLICY: If you would like to withdraw from the tournament after it begins, please alert the tournament director. NO refunds will be issued after the tournament begins.

NO-SHOW POLICY: There are NO refunds or credit for players who do not show up for their scheduled tournament matches.
