Event Overview
OVERVIEW
The 2025 Southeastern FIDE will take place over Labor Day Weekend, August 30-September 1, 2025 at the Hilton Garden Inn SouthPark. There are three FIDE and US Chess rated sections with a minimum rating of 1500 to participate. $5,500 is guaranteed in prizes.
There is a registration cap of 100 players - we expect to sell out so please register well in advance. This event runs alongside the 2025 CCC Labor Day GM/IM Norm Invitational.
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be members of US Chess.
- There is a USCF rating minimum of 1500 to enter:

Championship Section - FIDE Rated
$1000 - $500 - $300
Top U2300: $300 - $150
Under 2100 Section - FIDE Rated
$800 - $400 - $200
Top U1950: $225
Under 1800 Section - FIDE Rated
$800 – $400 – $200
Top U1650: $225
Minimum rating of 1500. No unrated players.

ENTRY FEE
$145 by August 20
$160 after August 20
GM/IM/WGMs: Free, no deduction from prize if registered by August 1, otherwise $145 deducted from prize.
