A US Chess Federation (USCF) rated tournament for adults and students.
IMPORTANT – ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE MEMBERS OF THE USCF!

Tournament Details

Sections: 1.) Open (adults and all ages) 2.) K-1, K-3, K-5, K-8, K-12
You may play in sections with ages higher than yours but not lower.

Format: 4-SS (4 rounds/games; Swiss System – everyone plays 4 games).
G/45;d5 (45 minutes per side, 5-second delay per move).

Schedule: Check-in 9:15 am – 9:45 am. 1st round starts at 10:00 am.

Awards: Open section (based on 20 entries): 1st = $200, 2nd = $75, 3rd = $50, U1600 = $50

Scholastic sections: Individual 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy for each section.
Top team trophy for each section. Top girl trophy for each section.

SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE: International Master Joshua Colas will be present in person to deliver a live lecture and conduct a simultaneous exhibition (simul).
