OVERVIEW
The Charlotte Fall Open is a classical event with a $8,000 total prize fund split over 2 weekends. The second weekend, September 26-28, hosts the Top Sections - Championship and Under 2000. There is a minimum rating of 1600 to enroll – players rated under 1800 should enroll in the Under Sections, September 19-21.

ELIGIBILITY (TOP SECTIONS)
- There is a strict USCF rating minimum of 1600 to enter the top 2 sections of the Charlotte Fall Open, based on September US Chess ratings or a peak rating since July 16.
- Players rated under 1800 should check out the Charlotte Fall Open Under Sections, September 19-21.

Minimum rating of 1600.

* Rounds 1-2 of 2-Day Schedule played at G/30; inc/10 time control, then merge with 3-day schedule, Saturday 4:00pm
ENTRY FEE
$125 by September 17, $140 after
GM/IM/WGMs: Free, no deduction from prize if registered by September 11, otherwise $120 deducted from prize
