Time Control: G/60; d5 

Registration: 7:30am to 8:25am 

Rounds: Round 1 starts @ 9:00am, subsequent times t.b.a. (includes a lunch break). 

1st 4 Players 2200+: Play for free, with $30 being deducted from any awarded prize(s) equaling $60 or more. Email for entry approval in advance. [email protected]. 

Entry Fee: $30 check, money order by 08/14/2025, or $33 through reg4chess.com (TN Region 3). $40 cash at site. Current Murfreesboro Club Members reimbursed $5 from EF at the event. TCA Membership is optional, but highly encouraged. 

Prize Fund: $900 based on 36 players, or else proportional avoiding any losses, and adding to the prize fund if possible. Raffle after lunch. 

Bonus Prizes: Civil War Chess Set awarded for the biggest upset in both sections. 

Top 1600+ Section (Must be at least 1400 to play up): 1st $175, 2nd $100, Expert Class $60, A Class $60, B Class and below $60 

Amateur Section (U1600 only): 1st $125, 2nd $80, D Class $60, E Class $60, F Class and below $60, UNR Special Medallion and Choice of a Club Prize Byes: One half point bye available any round if requested before round 1. 

Organizational Discretion: The TD has the complete discretion to alter and/or combine the sections, and/or to alter the prize fund in any fashion before Round 1 concludes, including adding to it.
