Event Overview
Format:
One-day, 4-round Swiss-Style tournament with an Open section and a Reserve section (U1200/Unrated). Clocks and chess sets will be provided for Reserve section players.
Time Control:
G/45; d10 for both sections: Each player has 45 minutes with a 10-second delay per move.
Rounds:
9:30 am – 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Entry Fee:
Adults over 18: Early registration fee is $10. On-site fee is $15.
Youth 18 & under: Free
All players must have a current USCF and MCA memberships (MCA only for Michigan residents).

Registration:
Online registration: Players can register online through the chess registration service OnlineRegistration.cc: https://onlineregistration.cc. Scroll down to “Petoskey District Library” and our event to register.
Online registration will be available until October 17. Youth players: Youth discount will be applied at online checkout, bringing entry fee down to $0.00.
All other registrations will be on-site the day of the event.
On-site registration: October 19, 8:00 am to 9:00 am at the Carnegie Building. Credit card payments accepted.
Prizes:
Custom ceramic cups will be awarded to: Open 1st, 2nd, 3rd & top U1600; Reserve 1st, 2nd, 3rd & top U700
