A state championship event!
Date: Sunday, November 24, 2024
Format: 5 round swiss, G/30;d5
Location: Brookdale Community College - Student Life Center in Lincroft, NJ; parking in lots 6 and 7.
Sections: K-12. Players must play in the section corresponding to their grade in November 2024.
Equipment: Only boards and sets will be provided; players should bring their own clocks.
Prizes: Trophies to top 10 players and top three school teams in each section. Trophy or medal guaranteed for all players with 2.5+.
Rounds: 10 AM, 11:45, 1:45 PM, 3:20, and 5:00. Awards ceremony ASAP after the end of round 5.
Entry Fee: Online: $45 by 10/21, $50 by 11/11, $55 afterward; $70 on-site. Registration: Online using this form, Online registration closes at 10 PM on 11/21 or when the tournament reaches maximum player capacity. (Sign up early to guarantee your spot!) Onsite registration from 8-9 AM ONLY IF THERE IS STILL ROOM, after 9 AM half-point bye for round 1. Check njscf.org for updates about registration.
