4 rounds; Swiss System; G/30 d5

Sections: K-3, K-5, K-8, K-12
*Note: Sections may be combined based on registered players.

Entry Fee: $5, paid at the door. Checks can be made payable to Murray Middle School. 

Schedule:
Registration and Check-In: 8:00am-8:45am
Coaches meeting: 8:45
Round 1: 9:30 am
Subsequent Rounds ASAP.

Important Information:

• A USCF Membership is required for all participating players. All USCF rules will be followed - See here for important and common rules: https://www.jacksonpurchasechess.com/tournament-rules-regulations
• All players must be accompanied by an adult. There are to be no students dropped off without an adult.
• Players arriving after registration will receive one half-point bye and will be paired in subsequent rounds. Half-point byes may be requested for any round during registration only (limit 1).
• Boards and pieces will be provided. Please bring a clock if one is available to you.
• Pizza, donuts, and water will be available onsite for purchase. There are also many food options available nearby on 12th Street, including McDonalds, CookOut, Sonic, Taco Bell, and more!
• Street parking is available out front, additional parking can be found in lots on either side of the school.
• Please enter via doors by the cafeteria.
• Information regarding prizes to come later.
• All registration is due by January 25.
