Team Tournament Details: 5SS, All Rounds: G/90+10. Four players per team plus one alternate (switches limited to 50 rating points). March ratings will be used for each player and the team average will be calculated for pairings.

NOTE: If any team member is over 400 points below the average of the team, an imputed rating will be given so that their rating will be within 400 points of the team’s average.

Registration: Team captains register team online at www.columbuschessacademy.org. Pay online or by mail payment to Columbus Chess Academy c/o Kathy Lin 654 Binns Blvd, Columbus OH 43204. No on-site registration. Mail-in registration on the following page.

Entry Fee: $200 per team online or by mail by March 10. After March 10: $250.

Round times: Saturday 10 AM, 2 PM, 6 PM; Sunday 10 AM, 2 PM

Prizes (based on 20 teams): 1st - $1000, 2nd - $800, U2000 - $600, U1800 - $500, U1600 - $400; Top Boards 1 - 4: $50

NOTE: Under prizes will be determined based on the team average at the start of the tournament (not based on the players who play each round).

MOTCF FUNDRAISER

Over the years, various individuals and organizations have donated gently used books and sets. We will bring these to the tournament to sell. We will also have new sets and clocks available for purchase. 100% of the proceeds go to our CCS Coaches Program which puts chess coaches in CCS schools. Cash, credit card, Venmo, PayPal accepted.

We will also be selling coffee and snacks to raise money as well.
